❥ M is for Musical Instrument
Inspired by Mummy Sheenee Tan (do follow her, she got tons of great & creative ideas!)

DIY Maracas 沙球

Material : Recycled Spoons, Egg Shape Plastic Container, Fillings (i used rice & green bean for different sound effects)
主要材料：塑料汤匙，蛋形（圆形也可以）塑料容器，填充物（我使用米和绿豆，来制造稍微不同的声响）

Parents can let children to fill in the container with rice and green beans by their own.
孩子日渐长大，无论是日常生活自理或者Tot School活动，我都尽量让她自行处理。将米和绿豆分别加入两个容器内。摇一摇，辨认不同填充物在摇晃撞击下发出的声响会否不同。

Tied up the egg shape container to recycled spoon as in picture above and done! Little girl love her DIY Maracas very much. And we had a "sound test" for it. I shaked one of the maracas and let little girl guessed what is the filling for it? It is an interesting game, you should try it with you children~
接下来就是将蛋形容器固定在两个汤匙中间，如上图即可。完成后可以来个声音辨认游戏。我摇了其中一个沙球并让小人儿猜猜沙球内的填充物是什么，小人儿非常喜欢这个声音辨识游戏，你也可以试试。  

DIY Drum 鼓

DIY drum which we made during Letter D week. 

早前在字母D周时制作的鼓，现在也配合自制乐器主题拿出来再度使用。

DIY Windpipe Instrument
The making of windpipe can expose our kids to scissor skill, learn on how to measure, and of course number recognition as every straw need to in different length (and i told little girl what is the length needed and she measure for me). Let's see how to do it now.
这个自制Windpipe其实过程可以让孩子学习到：测量（开始使用尺），使用剪刀，及复习数字（因为每根吸管需要在不同长度，所以我会告诉小人儿我所须的长度然后让她来进行测量）。以下是制作流程。 

As usual, simple material for our home activities. :)
一如既往的简单材料。

I used 8 straws for it, starting from 5cm to 12cm, different in 1cm from one straw to another.
共用了8根吸管，从5cm到12cm,每根之间差别一公分。

Tied up all the straws together as in picture and done!
之后像图一样将吸管接起来其实就完成了。

You may add in cardboard then it will be easier for kids to hold it.
加一层硬纸卡在手握部分，孩子们会比较容易握。

It is not easy for toddlers to make sound with this windpipe. Little girl practice few times and then only managed to make it sound~ Anyway, she like all the DIY musical instruments, and invite us to form a "Funny Home Band" with her. :)

其实要将Windpipe吹响对孩子来说不太容易，小人儿试了好几次才掌握技巧。以上所有自制乐器她都很喜欢，还一直邀请我们和她一起组“搞笑家庭乐团”呢~

❥ M is for Music Playing

Using red wine glasses and fill in water in different level, your kid can play the music at home~

只要家中有红酒杯就可以试这个啦~

ding dong dang ding dong ding

Practical Life Practice : Pouring water back to bottle after finished her musical show.
生活技能学习：演出完毕后自行将水倒回瓶中[其实我很怕她打破杯子~哈哈！]

动物妈妈和孩子配对游戏。读完故事书就来玩配对游戏。
