Tot School : Panda Theme Play 2 熊猫主题周(二）

日前到了新加坡河川生态园一游，园内有可爱的大熊猫，为此就来熊猫主题研究吧！两年多前也做过了熊猫主题，当时是以一些手眼协调，触感游戏为主。转眼孩子也那么大了，这次就以学术性的探索为主轴。

以下为这次活动内容介绍：

1. 熊猫面具手做

当然手工环节也是不可少的：Panda Mask

我剪出来贴成属于孩子的资料簿。

戴上熊猫面具，我们一起进行熊猫资料阅读。

3. 探访大熊猫

这次的主题活动其实就是为了我们的新加坡河川生态园游而准备的。透过一系列的活动，希望孩子能以探索式的方式更加了解大熊猫。

4. 准备大熊猫的居住环境

竹子部分是使用一次性筷子+吸水管来制作。
让孩子将吸水管剪成小段再套入筷子中就完成了。

5. 黑豆记忆游戏
突发奇想的制作了这个游戏，依据Photographic Memory Games的方法给她玩了一会儿。结果九个格子我是低估了她。小人儿轻而易举的过关了。

6. 黑白旗子游戏

首先让小人儿制作黑白旗子。
完成后就可以开始游戏咯。
让小朋友双手各拿一个旗子，然后发出升降旗子的指令，让孩子根据指令做出动作。
可以运用的指令有，白旗升起来，黑旗降下来，黑旗不要升，白旗黑旗降下来等。靠靠孩子们的反应。

7. Parts of the Giant Panda

取自网络的大熊猫身体部位配对。

加入夹子，让孩子用夹子把Label夹起，增添趣味性。

8.大熊猫桌游

比一比，看看谁先帮小熊猫回家。

里面的生字主要取自红蜻蜓出版社的学前阅读计划第5册：小鱼。

小人儿的学校在阅读这一册，我就把里面的生字放在这个游戏里复习一下。

Merry Christmas 2017 (free printable file)

在2017结束前，分享我去年制作的圣诞DIY Busy Bag。去年来不及分享，今年也差点忘了，幸好今天想起了。

这次共有三个适合不同年龄层的圣诞小游戏：

1. Tracing Fun

2. Roll & Cover 

3. Tic Tac Toe

Roll & Cover需要配合白色Pom Pom Ball和骰子一起进行。至于Tic Tac Toe，我就贴上磁铁片，让它在使用携带上更容易。

Before the end of 2017, here i share my Christmas DIY Busy Bag which actually created by last year.

There are three Christmas games for children in different ages:
1. Tracing Fun
2. Roll & Cover
3. Tic Tac Toe

Roll & Cover game need to be done with white Pom Pom Ball and dice. As for Tic Tac Toe, I affixed a magnet piece for attachment purpose to make it easier to carry around.

Halloween Festival Activity

Halloween History
Straddling the line between fall and winter, plenty and paucity, life and death, Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. It is thought to have originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off roaming ghosts. In the eighth century, Pope Gregory III designated November 1 as a time to honor all saints and martyrs; the holiday, All Saints’ Day, incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain. The evening before was known as All Hallows’ Eve and later Halloween. Over time, Halloween evolved into a secular, community-based event characterized by child-friendly activities such as trick-or-treating. In a number of countries around the world, as the days grow shorter and the nights get colder, people continue to usher in the winter season with gatherings, costumes and sweet treats.

Origin of Halloween

Halloween’s origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-in). The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom and northern France, celebrated their new year on November 1. This day marked the end of summer and the harvest and the beginning of the dark, cold winter, a time of year that was often associated with human death. Celts believed that on the night before the new year, the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred. On the night of October 31 they celebrated Samhain, when it was believed that the ghosts of the dead returned to earth. In addition to causing trouble and damaging crops, Celts thought that the presence of the otherworldly spirits made it easier for the Druids, or Celtic priests, to make predictions about the future. For a people entirely dependent on the volatile natural world, these prophecies were an important source of comfort and direction during the long, dark winter.

万圣节历史

万圣节起

Happy Birthday Malaysia 59 Years Old

Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!

Malaysia is a beautiful place and have a lot of natural resources such as palm oil, coconut, rubber tree and so on. We have beautiful beach at East Malaysia and East Coast. Malaysia is a Rainforest country. We also live in beautiful tropical jungle.

Malaysia also is a multiracial, the 3 of major races such as Malay, Cina, and Indian. Since of the history that I know, our ancestors are come from different country to Malaya because of  survival. Its now we are become a Malaysian and stay in Malaysia like a big family. This is so amazing after you are think back on the history, our fate linking.

If you want to know more about Malaysia can go search from internet. Me is not the person really well in Malaysia History.

Wish Malaysia will get more good future in further.

Tot School : 七田真记忆训练: 曼陀罗卡片 Photographic Memory training with Mandala

在网络看见妈咪Wai Wai分享Mandala的照片。看起来很有趣，然后我就开始寻找资料，才发现那是七田真右脑开发的训练之一。除了曼陀罗卡片外，其实还有其他训练。但是网络的资料也不是很完整，我也是大概了解。只是觉得这个曼陀罗卡片记忆训练游戏很有趣，就开始自行根据资料提供的概念制作了一些图。

以下为我在网络上找到曼陀罗卡片的资料分享：

曼陀罗卡片是由红、黄、蓝、绿四种颜色组成的一组对称图形。是激发右脑训练的一种方法。

只需准备题目纸，空白答案画纸，及四支颜色【红，黄，蓝，青】笔即可

所谓的曼陀罗训练就是紧盯着曼陀罗图,记住每个曼陀罗的形状和颜色,然后在记忆里再现的一种训练方法.这种方法能激活右脑.

如果紧盯着曼陀罗图看10秒钟,然后闭上眼睛,就能够在想象里栩栩如生地再现曼陀罗的颜色和形状,这就证明你的右脑想象能力已经被开启了.如果继续做这种练习的话,很自然地就能开发出你的右脑想象能力

下面是曼陀罗图练习的具体操作方法:

(1)请连续盯着曼陀罗图.

(2)看5秒后闭眼5秒,同时暗示自己在闭眼睛时让图像尽可能长时间地停留在眼前.睁开眼后,看图背面的黑白曼陀罗图像,并将它颜色回忆出来.

(3)训练的关键是要持续不断,至少要用3个月. 

在进行这个训练前，我从家里的玩具里找到类似的训练卡片。然后赶紧和小人儿一起玩，结果发现，要记忆图像其实不容易。那么我们的右脑可能真的要被训练一下才会被激活吧~

无论如何，我不是这方面的专家，也没有去深入研究。单纯的觉得这个游戏很好玩，可以同时锻炼观察及记忆能力，当然也同时打发一下两母女的居家时光。小人儿挺有兴趣的，如果你也有兴趣可以在这里下载我参考网络资料自行准备的记忆小游戏。[再次强调，我并非专业，只是把这个活动当作游戏进行，如果有不对的地方也欢迎大家指导 :) ]

谢谢妈咪Pang Siew Ling的分享。Mummy Pang建议说，可以让孩子进行检查答案，那么效果会更加好。Mummy Pang也建议我去YouTube找资料，以下是我找到的。真的很谢谢Mummy Pang的纠正。 :)

根据视屏里面的做法，是在作答时不需上色。视屏内的孩子只是将正确颜色写上（不会写的孩子可能就用对的颜色做个记号）。完成后，检查答案。在正确答案旁边打勾勾即可。
