Tot School : Panda Theme Play 2 熊猫主题周(二）

日前到了新加坡河川生态园一游，园内有可爱的大熊猫，为此就来熊猫主题研究吧！两年多前也做过了熊猫主题，当时是以一些手眼协调，触感游戏为主。转眼孩子也那么大了，这次就以学术性的探索为主轴。

以下为这次活动内容介绍：

1. 熊猫面具手做

当然手工环节也是不可少的：Panda Mask

戴上熊猫面具，我们一起进行熊猫资料阅读。

3. 探访大熊猫

这次的主题活动其实就是为了我们的新加坡河川生态园游而准备的。透过一系列的活动，希望孩子能以探索式的方式更加了解大熊猫。

4. 准备大熊猫的居住环境

竹子部分是使用一次性筷子+吸水管来制作。
让孩子将吸水管剪成小段再套入筷子中就完成了。

5. 黑豆记忆游戏
突发奇想的制作了这个游戏，依据Photographic Memory Games的方法给她玩了一会儿。结果九个格子我是低估了她。小人儿轻而易举的过关了。

6. 黑白旗子游戏

首先让小人儿制作黑白旗子。
完成后就可以开始游戏咯。
让小朋友双手各拿一个旗子，然后发出升降旗子的指令，让孩子根据指令做出动作。
可以运用的指令有，白旗升起来，黑旗降下来，黑旗不要升，白旗黑旗降下来等。靠靠孩子们的反应。

7. Parts of the Giant Panda

取自网络的大熊猫身体部位配对。

加入夹子，让孩子用夹子把Label夹起，增添趣味性。

8.大熊猫桌游

比一比，看看谁先帮小熊猫回家。

里面的生字主要取自红蜻蜓出版社的学前阅读计划第5册：小鱼。

小人儿的学校在阅读这一册，我就把里面的生字放在这个游戏里复习一下。

Tot School - Leaf play time

Leaf learning is the tot school with low cost and easy to get the material at your home. I use this leaf to play in 3 games at 1 time.

Now let's we talk about the material

• Leaf ( I use mint leaf)
• Paper (recycle paper A3)
• Color pen
• Glue

Counting game

First, I draw out 5 numbers with simple frame to separate by each row. Let him to follow by the row do counting and put the quantity leaf with the row number are showing.  

Purpose of this game is for him to recall the counting and number.

Place the leave game
First I draw a simple flower shape. So ask him use the glue to stick the leaf follow by the real place.
Purpose of this game is for him learn from imagination, hand-eye coordination, and help the leaf paint glue.

Make a TREE
I draw a tree without leaf and ask him use the leaf to make a tree.
Purpose of this game is for him do the imagination.

Tot School - Learn my Montessori Transport 3 part card

This idea is come from Chen's mummy sharing with me and I do research for what is Montessori 3 part cards. I found that Montessori 3 part cards is really useful to guide my boy for the 1st learning. Even 1st time play he able to remember for the 1st stage transport.

Inside I had prepare 15 different transport Montessori 3 part cards and separate in 3 teaching times. For my own experience, if too many teach together my children will feel confuse and not interesting play on that.

这个想法是来自晨妈妈，在当中我有上网找寻一番什么是蒙特梭利3份卡。然后我发现这个蒙特梭利3份卡是一个很好玩也很容易让孩子记得每一个交通的样子和名字。即使是第一次玩，都能够记得和分辨个别的名字。

在这里我画了15不同的交通工具蒙特梭利3份卡，同时分别3次进行这游戏。因为我之前的经验告诉我说，太多的新东西一起进行其实会很容易混淆他们。

Part 4. Puzzle to recall the transport by the following

 First show the part 1 and let them do match together with the part 2 & 3.

Option 1. 3 step play time

Once done for the Option 1, then can be try on next Option 2.

start show the picture only (part2). Then let them do puzzle game and choose the name (part3).

End up compare and do correction.

Option 2. 4 step play time

First, let them to see the real picture then only proceed puzzle games.

认知形状(2) ♥ learning my shape (part 2)

 

 

I found that Yee starting interest on shape so I do a simple activity shape for him to play. Some of the material actually I download from internet and forgot where is the link I download from. So I might not able to share out. Below activity shape idea is come from Yee. Because he like to play car so I draw a simple shape with road topic.

Below you can see each of the tree have each angle. So it can let Yee know the shape has how many angle for the further knowledge.

 

 最近亿开始对形状开始有了兴趣。所就做了一些些形状游戏给他玩。 有一些是之前在online download下来给他玩。之后开始喜欢了画画就画了一些基本图案。因为还在初学当中所以都是画一些简单的来给孩子玩。这个形状的图是来自于亿喜欢玩车，所以就做了个马路的图形让亿推着车顺着马路走。让他更了解图形，同时还画了几颗树。每一颗树代表每一个形状的angle，所以可以清楚的让亿分辨出每个形状有多少个角度。

 

 

The next is shape matching. I make 2 design with color and without color. I cut the shape out with the color shape and let Yee do matching. After that let him to stick on the paper shape by shape.

 

接下来是形状配对。做了一个黑白和彩色的形状，首先我把彩色形状剪除来之后让亿自己配对。了解玩法了后就让他一个个配对贴上去。

This game I get it from Chen's Mum. She told me the shape can play like this. My boy like it much.

这个游戏是从晨妈妈那里学来的。他说可以用粉笔画在地上让他看看大图的形状。问问题后让他踩在对的形状上。

Tot School : Early Numeracy Activities (Part 2) 数字早教活动（二）

After Early Numeracy Activities Week, of course we still carry on for numeracy related homeplay. I added on some counting or number matching activities inside almost every theme play. Through continuous exposure, finally she can recognize almost all the number(but sure will have mistakes sometimes)and can do counting as well.

Anyway, it is not important how good or how bad of their achievement, we are rewarded as long as children are happy during the process.

Ok, let's see what numeracy related homeplay that we done recently-

继之前的数字启蒙周后，我们的认识数字活动其实都有继续在进行。主要是以让晨学会0-9及学会10以内的数数来设计活动。希望通过不同的、不断的、重复性的游戏来让她慢慢吸收。正如我们一直一来强调的一样，游戏结果并不太重要，重要的是希望藉由这些互动性的陪伴来好好的打发一起的亲子时光。减少对科技产品的依赖，希望孩子的童年都是充满快乐的互动活动的。以下是这段时期的数字活动介绍。

☆Number Matching Activities☆

You may refer to our post about homeplay to get all the printable sources. For most of the activities, i use magnatic dots for Chen to do matching. You can use dot sticker (mark with number) as well.
基本的数字配对游戏。属于比较早期就可以开始进行的游戏。通过这个活动，孩子们会慢慢认得所有数字。当然，父母需要陪伴游戏并适时给予指导。多数的活动里，我都是用数字磁铁圆点来进行。你也可以购入一些dot sticker然后再上面写上号码即可。

☆Counting Activities☆

Can be done in many ways, here with samples from us.
配合不同主题以不同形式呈现的数一数环节。

Count & Clip, clothespins are great to strengthen fine motor skills for kids.
运用衣夹子有助于精细动作技能发展，你可以让孩子使用衣夹子夹在答案上。

Daily Life Counting 将数量活动融入日常生活中
This no cost activity which you can do it anytime. For example, you can invite your children to count the button on  their shirt. Count on items/food that you pass to them, like can you count how many strawberries inside your bowl now? Keep repeating and they will finally know how to count~
最基本又不需成本的数量活动就是数些日常生活内所触及的物品。比如，数一数你的衣服上有多少颗纽扣，数一数你的碗内有多少颗草莓之类的~在不断重复练习下，慢慢的孩子们就能掌握。

Number recognize practice can from our daily life as well. I cut out number one bread strips for Chen as breakfast. After finished, she requested for Number 3! 😊
 从日常生活也可以进行数字介绍活动哦～今早我将面包剪成条状并告诉孩子这些是一。晨吃完后再要求一些面包，并说，我要三的面包。😊 通过日常作息，我们也来认识数字～

 

 

 

☆Maths Tray Activity☆
Inspired from pinterest and love this idea very much. And I'm just too lucky to found a round tray which is similar to Montessori Tray so i started this round tray activity with Chen immediately~

从 Pinterest看到这个 Maths Tray活动介绍，马上就收藏起来，想说看看能否买的合适的分格式托盘。结果几天后收拾壁橱时就发现我有一个很类似的托盘呀～本来是垃圾的托盘马上价位暴涨!然后当然是马上进行数字托盘活动。

Materials 托盘内有:
Felt Number Card 不织布数字卡
Number Magnet 数字磁铁
Any suitable mini items on hand 任何适合的迷你小物

Child uses three of the five senses; tactile, auditory, and sight to learn the sound and formation of each letter/number. Child traces on the letter on the felt number card to gain a muscular memory of the shape of the letters as a prelude to writing.

☆Playdough Activities☆

Yup, sure we can also introduce Number to our little with this simple play dough~ It can be carried out in many ways, for example:
粘土大概是多数孩子的最爱，通过游戏尤其是孩子们喜欢的游戏其实更容易让他们对这些数字留下印象。以下是我们的一些游戏环节：

☆Puzzle Play☆

You might use lego bricks, pattern blocks or wooden blocks for sure! Below are sample from Chen.
市场上有许多拼图系列，通常可以用 lego bricks, pattern blocks， 等来拼图。当然少不了爱宝贝的自制数字木方块拼图~

Let's play while waiting for our meal. Busy bag is really important for daddy and mummy~ 在等食物时我会把Busy Bag拿出来，尽量避免电子产品。今天来玩数字积木拼图！

After i introduced Number Felt Card(Sensory Card) to Chen, every time she saw alphabets/number which is in bigger size, she will use her finger tip to trace the word~ ^^ After completed her wooden puzzle, she traced the wooden blocks surface and said 2~
自从用不织布数字卡来让她练习用指尖写字后，之后每每看见比较大的字母或数字，晨都会用手指做tracing动作。今天也是一样，完成2的拼图后就自行写起来~

☆ Rice Tray(Salt Tray) Play☆
After few times finger trace on felt number card then we move to (salt tray) prewriting practice. Of course, what she enjoy most is the rice playing session (i provided bottles, spoon, cup for her to play with)instead of prewriting practice.
通常在不织布触感卡进行了几次finger trace 练习后(晨会说，妈妈我要在米上面写字，当然一眼看穿写字是其次，她是想玩米粒～)，我们会利用自制米粒托盘继续习字。网络看到多数人用盐或面粉托盘，可 是我比较喜欢用米粒 (我有稍微搅拌至碎)，觉得比较好清理。然后找个合适的盒子置入米粒即可～
